This engagement session with Tori and Tyler was so much fun! They could not be any cuter if they tried! They chose two of my favorite spots in Birmingham that felt like them, and I LOVED IT. I had such a good time exploring around with these two! Their care for each other made every shot so sweet. I loved seeing their personalities shine through the camera!

Here is a little bit about their love story and engagement from Tori:

Their Love Story

“Tyler and I meet when we were in high school, around the tenth grade we became really good friends, and we had this one friend who joked “y’all should date” but as you know we were like never, but then one day we were like why not. Over time, we have progressed from young teenagers who were just having fun in Spanish class to two people who are very opposite but are the perfect fit. From the small town of Vernon, AL to UNA and the University of Alabama we have an even fonder love than we did in the tenth grade.”

Their Engagement

“Tyler and my mom knew that I would never expect it because I was a sophomore in college. My family always goes to the lake for Memorial Day weekend and Tyler usually comes with us. They had made this plan that we were going to take family pictures but really Tyler was proposing. It was the perfect day and I WAS SO SURPRISED.”

I can’t wait for their big day at the Barn at Shady Lane that is coming so soon! Fun fact: Tori’s dad was the contractor for the venue!
