This masters grad session features the lovely Miranda! She is prepping for her graduation and is so excited to be wrapping up her time on campus soon. Getting a masters degree is certainly not for the faint of heart! However, Miranda has certainly taken her program in stride!

April has certainly been a busy month with grad sessions, but I LOVE it. I mean combine my love of the University of Alabama with my love of photography – couldn’t be a better gig! With that said, roll tide, haha!

We made sure to take photos at all of her favorite spots around campus along with a few go-to favorites of mine. I mean at this point, I might as well be a University of Alabama tour guide!

My business allows me to capture special milestone moments from so many different phases of life and am honored to have had each opportunity provide those memories. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing so many graduating seniors, documenting their amazing accomplishments and endeavors, preserving them for the many years to come. During every session, from these graduation sessions to family sessions to weddings, it is incredibly vital to me that my photos reflect the people in them. For this session, I wanted Miranda to feel not only how much I cared for her during her session but to also feel like herself when she looked at her photos. Her inward joy shines outward, and that should shine in her photos too! (P.S. Miranda texted me three separate times in less than 12 hours about how much she loved her photos, so YAY!!)

Be sure to keep scrolling to see the rest of this fun Masters Grad Session with Miranda! Can you guess my favorite photo from this session?

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT april

April is ever-focused on beauty and the thrilling art of creation; found in the moments that leave her breathless and in awe. With grandparents who used 35mm film and Polaroids to capture her life and the lives of others, she incorporates film into her weddings and sessions. April's hope is to gift heirloom imagery that tells your story and evokes emotion to be shared from one generation to the next and to serve with intentional care as if your photos were her own.
